COORDINATED CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE
The Coordinated
Campaign Committee of the Green Party ( http://gp.org/committees/campaign/)
has been set up to provide resources to Green candidates. The CCC
occasionally can provide small amounts of money to candidates after an
application process, (http://gp.org/committees/campaign/campaigntarget.shtml), but
more importantly, the committee is composed of experienced campaigners who
are willing to talk to candidates and help them prepare for campaigns and
strategize. CCC members are primarily focused on campaigns in their own
neighborhoods, but are willing to share their experience on the phone,
one-on-one or in conference calls. We can provide information on GOTV,
fundraising, putting together a campaign team, door-to-door campaigning,
petitioning, media, literature, issues papers, and almost anything else that
comes up in the course of the campaign.
In addition, the CCC maintains on its website a small library of manuals on
many aspects of campaigning. These are available at
http://gp.org/committees/campaign/resources.shtml. Many of the
articles are a bit dated, but all of them are still relevant.
