WHO WE ARE

    The Green Senatorial Campaign Committee (GSCC) is a seven-member committee elected by the National Committee of the Green Party of the United States (GPUS).  It presently has one vacancy, and its current members including its nonvoting Treasurer are:

    The GSCC has now achieved recognition by the Federal Election Commission as a national senatorial campaign committee, which allows it to receive and disburse larger contributions.  The original Advisory Opinion Request for this status was made on September 17, 2006, and on February 9, 2007 the FEC granted it.  (Please see http://ao.nictusa.com/ao/no/060036.html for the text of the FEC's ruling.)  The GSCC has released a press release on this major advance..
